Team 2192, or 'DAC Attack' is a third-year FIRST team from Newport, Oregon. We are a student-driven effort, developing long term community and corporate relationships. This site documents our efforts, and details the team.
At the 2008 Pacific Northwest Regional, Team 2192 was seeded 17th overall (out of many). Unfortunately, we were not chosen for an alliance in the finals, so we did not advance. Our friends on Team 997, Corvallis, Oregon were on the winning alliance, however.
We are currently right in the middle of the 2009 build season. It has been an exciting season so far, and we look forward to putting some more videos and photos from this season up soon.
2192 has many mentors and we thank them immensley! This included Don Riddell, Bob MacCoone, Mike Jakobsson, Brian Hanna, Harold Lofton, Teresa Atwill, Paul Reno and David Sampson. We couldn't do it without you.
